Did u pass ur eligibility criteria...? mine was rejected saying eligibility is still in progress..

when did u apply for BOWP? And can you please your PR application received and AOR dates?

and on which date your BOWP was rejected?

Yes... I think that is different process coz VO will not send you email for MRs. If I am correct you will receive MR soon,

My work permit is expiring in late May this year. I am kinda confused should i just go ahead and apply for my BOWP or should i just wait considering the fact that CIC is working on full throttle. Any suggestions will be appreciated

APPLY!!! You don't want to get into implied status for too long. It limits your possibilities to find a new job, because people hardly want to hire one at risk -- which is the situation I am in right now, and even I applied very early for my 2nd BOWP.
Don't delay what you can do today - simple. Use your German efficiency.

Thanks for your advise. I will surely do that asap. Just got another question regarding my situation. What will happen to my BOWP application if i ended up getting my PR before my work permit actually expires? :

Not sure. But I think, you can get part of the fee back.

Hey guys,

My wife and I just received our second BOWP in the post. We applied via paper application and it was received on October 27, 2015. We were on implied status for a little over a week and are just so HAPPY right now. Our TL: Aug 5, 2014 applicants, communication received in Aug 2015 requesting NOA and payslips, and we did upfront medicals in Aug 2015, which was reflected in ECAS as received. Other than that, we have received no correspondence from CIC. We did not get the error RPRF email a few weeks back.

Yesterday they changed processing date to September 8 right for BOWP online application, how come they reverted back again to same old September 3rd?

I am Sepetember 29 bridge work permit applicant. Yesterday I got email regarding update in my application. When I open my cic account it still shows in process. Today I call to call center and I was told it has been approved and will be mailed to me soon. But I have not received any approval email yet.

I called the call centre yesterday and was informed that my BOWP was approved in January. I never received any notification on this. I believe they are mailing the permit to my representative now.

I called again yesterday to call centre and I was told it will be approved soon. And he also said that work permit will be mailed to you next week. He advised me to call next week if it will not mail to you.

I am getting different answers from different agents. One told me it's approved, another said it's under processing and third one said it will be approved soon and will be mail to you next week.

My online status is still under processing. I don't understand why all agents are giving me different answers.

First agent even told me the expiry date of my bridge work permit. I guess I should only trust them when I will receive my approved status email or work permit by mail.

hey.. why you giving different answers? Yesterday you have mentioned that your online status is changed to Approved but no saying under processing. Anyways, If you still see your myCIC status Submitted then they havent touched your file yet.. Better not call them anymore

I was going to write 'Not approved yet'. Wrote approved by mistake.
