BOWP - March Applicants

When did you apply?

i got refused..they saud im not elligible in BOWP.. it says ' u must submit a letter from the province that nominated u under the pnp that DOES NOT stipulate conditions or restrictions indicating u must work for a specific employer or work under specific NOC (if these stipulations exist on ur nomination. U are NOT eligible for BOWP.

can i just go to BORDer and have my wp there. i can provide job offer and the lmia exempt fee. my employer will support me.

Any updates on March 13th to 15th application status? Do you see Approved status in CIC site as they got mail from CIC saying updated.

Is AOR document mandatory to attach along with application ? Can't they see in their system based on UCI number ?

Well...technically speaking it is not required to attach AOR. Once the VO puts in your UCI in the system, they can see each and every activity line-by-line, right from the beginning. It is like a data dump on the screen. (I have peeked into this screen last time i interacted with an immigration officer at the airport)

However, out of all the details you can see, the AOR copy summarizes your case to VO, and he does not need to connect the dots about your case going through Line by line

Hence, it is advisable to attach AOR copy.

i got an email today frm cic that ur application has been updated..bt wen checked there was nthing..status is still open..applied on march 17th

Same thing happened to one of our neighbor . They got same email on Saturday early hours at 3:30 AM. and then they checked in the site, but nothing was updated in the site till Monday afternoon i.e. today. They got an email at 3:30 PM today asking for $100 holder fee which was missed during the initial payment(This is CIC Online system glitch happening for most of the applicants).

In your case, if you paid $255, then you will see the updated status by tomorrow mid of the day ( My guess). if not, then you will also get a mail to pay the due amount. Wish you good luck.

Good thing here is, CIC started working on 17th March applications then.

May be our thread doesn't have much applicants who applied on 13th / 14th March !!
