BOWP Jan 2015 ?

Hi All,

I am super duper happy. I got my BOWP approved today .
What I received for MR, actually that was for my PR. So, double good news for me. Thank you all for the co-operation. One thing to mention here that I got the approval exactly on my trv expiration day. I called them yesterday, because I was worried about my status. What would happen if my application got rejection !!!!!

A moment can't happier than that.

I am a Jan 16 applicant and nothing new as of now. Starting to be worried as my permit is already expired on 4th March and I am now in implied status.
What if they reject the application? How long I have to leave the country?

No worries. In case of the worst scenario (rejection), you will still have choice to apply for your status restoration within 90 days of your visa expiration (though it's not guaranteed that it will get approved).

But I am sure that you will receive your approval at the beginning of next week. All the best

I applied for BOWP on January 21st. I am also waiting for it.

My work permit expires on 1st April so i hope i get it before that.

I applied for my BOWP on Jan 16th and I just received a message today from CIC requesting PNP and Letter of invitation documentation for my BOWP application.

I am confused as to why they requested this as I did not apply for PNP and I am unsure as to why they need a Letter of invitation - did anyone receive this message as well from CIC?

And any suggestions or advice on how I can reply back to them?

My suggestion is to write that i didn't apply for a PNP so i can't give them a confirmation number and maybe a letter of invitation from my relative?

By any chance when you were filling out the BOWP application form did you fill in your employer details ?

No - I put down BOWP - Not applicable in the employment section that's why I thought this is strange plus it's not about my job but it's about the PNP which I did not even apply for and Letter of invitation from someone i know?

Guys finally my application status changed & now it's saying "This application has been approved", feeling relaxed. I was 7th Jan applicant. Special thanks to all of them who supported during my tense time.

How many days I would be getting new work permit through mail?

Hello,I applied for BOWF on February online. Does anybody know how can I send an additional document to CIC? I know that they won't accept anything by mail. But can I upload an additional document?
