BOWP - How many of you have applied and received it successfully?

Hi All,

I'm Sep 02 / 2014 applicant. Current status is that every thing is complete and waiting (just as all of you are)....

My work permit expires in Mar 2017....

So, do you advise me to apply for BOWP ? If yes, how about my spouse and child.... what specific thing I have to apply for them....

please confirm...

You mean employer 2 is operating under the name on employer 1. While registering their company in Canada. Now I understand.

hiii regarding work experience in express entry? i worked in india for 2 years back in 2006 to 2008.. i mentioned in my work experience .. do i need to put the employment letter in it ? i tried to contact my employer but i came to knowthat they already shut down their business and moved to another place ? what shall i do ? ? i am slightly confused ? pls reply me if you know the answer.... thanx

Is there anybody, who recently got approval for BOWP?

Actually one of my friend, he applied for BOWP in the first week of September but he is still waiting.

He applied for paper based PR application in May 2016 and got AOR in July and he used AOR to apply for work permit. I don't know why he is not getting approval by now.

Anyone else in this forum experienced same problem? Please reply.

I am confused if he applied September or May,... Or you are referring to 2 different persons.

Actually for work permit, he applied in September and still waiting.

For permanent residency he applied in May and got file AOR in July and he used that AOR email to extend his work permit.

Sorry, it's my fault... If he applied last week of September for bowp, it should be approved by now. But I have this friend, I thought she knew how to apply, then one day an officer contacted her for the receipt, they found out that she didn't pay the Open WP holder fee. Something like that will definitely delay an application.

I applied for BOWP on 12 October 2016 (online within Canada) and I received approval last night (23 November). It doesn't state whether my TRV has been renewed though. Still waiting for the letter in the mail.
If anyone has any questions, I hope I can help.

Did you apply BOWP with AOR? Means did you use PR application file number to apply for bridging open work permit? if yes, when did you submit your PR application?

I submitted my eAOR, the confirmation that my PR application has been received (6 October). I still have not received my R10. So they approved my BOWP with AOR.
