BOWP - How many of you have applied and received it successfully?

The processing time vary but it can take a month, but maybe just 3 weeks. So better to say end of July.

As far as your expiry date is below 4 months you can apply, so I think go for it.

I am thinking to apply late coz then my existing work permit

E-CAS? Not sure, saw updates on different days, usually at night.

My BOWP got approved today. Here is my timeline:

Online application on 3rd March,2014
Approved on 19th March,2014.

Waiting to receive the work permit in the mail now.

Online application on March 8, 2014
Approved on March 20, 2014

Just a total of 12 days including weekends..

Waiting to receive the work permit early next week

Hi,

My BOWP was approved. I applied on March 07 but am not sure of the date it was approved. I just logged into MyCiC and it says "this application has been approved". I was expecting to receive an automatic email from CIC when my application status was updated, but I guess that never happened.

The original copy of my visa should be in my mailbox in a few days.

Hmm, I submitted my BOWP application on March 6 but was greeted with a request for RCMP certificate this morning (for my CEC application). Also received an email that my BOWP application was "updated" but when I logged in, nothing was changed.

I'm going to get the RCMP thing done asap but my current WP expires mid-May so I just hope this doesn't push back the processing time...

Well I received two emails saying my application was updated but when I checked there was nothing new. Third time when I received the email, status changed to approved. So just give it time.

Did all three emails arrive on the same day? I received mine this morning at 8.30am and no emails since - status on CIC website has not changed either (everything still shows as no docs requested, no decision made, etc).
