BOWP after getting fired

I have seen some cases BOWP was approved after getting fired even if there is still more than 4 months remaining on current work permit.

Is this true?

As long as we get AOR,are we eligible to apply for BOWP in case of losing a job?

yes it is true that you could apply BOWP but to be eligible A letter (Acknowledgement of Receipt) is issued to the applicants once their application has passed a completeness check. This letter indicates the following: “CIC has reviewed your application and determined that it meets the requirements of a complete application as described in section 10 and section 12.01 of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations.” This is the official Acknowledgement of Receipt letter and it may be used to support a BOWP if all other requirements are met.

WP expiry date basically must be less than 4 months but in case of getting fired thid rule doesn't apply.

I'm wondering if they decrease the score of ITA even though after getting ROA,and my application is refused.

No, of course not. If they have applied and gotten the initial AOR, then a person must also have a valid work permit at the time of the BOWP application, and the work permit must be due to expire within 4 months. The applicant must also be in Canada. But there is no requirement to be employed at the time.

Not really. The rule still applies. But sometimes applicants have pleaded their case, and sometimes VOs have made exceptions and granted the BOWPs. There is no guarantee that this will be true for everyone.

Do we lose the eligibility for EE application if we lose the job?
It means job offer is going to be cancelled because most of us get the job offer from current employers.

In my opinion,job offer is required to get AOR but it's not necessary after that.

The source says EE applicants, and I think PNP nominees must not have job restrictions in order to be eligible. Paper based PR applications still need to pass R10 completeness check before applying.

It doesn't mention anything about paper based or online BOWP applications, I assume both can work.

Your visa still can not be valid for more than 4 months at the time when you apply. Before that, you are not eligible.
