I have an approved study visa, but the issue is some people are saying at the border, for release of permit, they ask for IELTS trf? I did not submit IELTS to CIC, will I be asked?

If the visa officer wants, he/she can ask any question about your application and can request that you show the documents that you provided in your application. You have to show whatever proof of language that you showed or whatever document you showed to get an exemption from writing a English language test.

IELTS is not mandatory to get a study permit, that is just a silly rumor.

I don't think there was any proof of language required or shown for me.
