when you have a birthday, does your EE profile get automatically updated,

or do you you have to log in and change age?

It will be automatically updated.

So after my birthday (coming up), when I log in and see the following:

- Application status: OPEN
- Minimum requirements: MET
- Federal skill: MET
Overall points: XXX

I can assume my profile is still valid and elegible in EE?

Yes. Your profile will be invalid after 1 year from the date of creation. Or ineligible if your IELTS and/or ECA expires.

Anyway, should I expect an email in myCiC account stating EE profile was updated?

I though I would get an email a bit after 12:00 AM (canada Eastern time) when my birthday took effect,

but so far nada.

when should I expect it?

Expect no mails. Login to your profile and you should see the revised score within 24 hours of your birthday.
