Birth Certificate Translation

Hi Dears,

I need to have my birth certificate (shenasnameh) translated from Persian into English. I dont have anyone near me to do it so I am scanning a copy and emailing it to someone to do it in Toronto.

He will send me a certified, translated copy back by email. Is that enough for CIC

Or does I need to get the physical copy of the certified translation through the mail to send to CIC?

I keep calling CIC....but they are too busy and the call is not going through

if is electronic submission, a scan is enough.
But you should ask the translator to send you the paper copy too, just in case.

my application was returned to me because of that. your best bet would be getting the translator in toronto to courier the certified copy to you.
