birth certificate mandatory ehile sending final file for PR?

Guys, I need urgent attention of experts on my issue related to birth certificate. My birth Certi has my dob as 23-08-78 while passport, school leaving and other legal docs have 23-08-77
1. Can I use birth date as per passport ?
2. Is birth certificate mandatory?
