Birth certificate contains native language and English (spelt wrong) !

Dear Experts,

My spouse's birth certificate is in the native language (hindi). And for some reason they wrote the name in English as well but spelt incorrectly.

My question is: What will be the result of the translation?

Case 1
If translation results in the correct name, the original certificate still has the incorrect English one. Will that create a problem later?

Case 2
If the translation results in the same name, then what are my options if the name cannot be corrected in the records?

Has anyone had a mis-spelt name in their birth certificate? What did you do about that?
