birth certificate and death certificate...?

I am applying for a student visa and I was wondering if they want my birth certificate? Mine is not in English so i'll have to translate it which will take some time.
Also my father has passed away, do i need to enclose his death certificate? this is also not in English.

I dont think u need these certificates
Just put the info on family info form n u'l b good

Yeah I thought so too. Plus on my passport it says my country of birth and everything. Thanks a lot for your help :)
