1.My Question is My Father has given an affidavit for non availability of birth certificate like below from India. Will that be enough or should i provide affidavit by myself in Canada?.
I got non availability certificate from my village too. I will attach this and secondary school certificate along with affidavit. Please give me suggestion to above question.

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN

STATUTORY DECLARATION IN THE MATTER OF - Birth Certificate

I (XXX), resident of ---------------, do solemnly declare and affirm as follows:

My Son (XXXX) was born on XX-XXX-XXXX at _______

I (XXX) am his father & His mother's name is XXXXX. Both are citizens of India.

I am providing this affidavit in order to verify my son's birth details. As his birth was

not registered at the time of his birth, we are unable to attain his birth certificate

from the relevant issuing authorities

AND I, (XXX), the deponent make this Solemn Declaration

conscientiously believing it to be true.

I would suggest that you give the affidavit instead of your father, if you are in Canada, prepare the affidavit and get it notarized by a notary public in Canada, that should be fine.

I did the same and its taken as a valid document.

Good luck

It looks like NO, they are different in their functionality.

It would be better you stick to Notary public.

Good luck.
