I'm currently preparing my documents to apply for a study permit to Canada (for Spring term - May 2024). My problem is I'm going to Canada to spend the holidays (end Nov to early Jan). If I receive my biometrics appointment when I'm not in my home country, can I have my biometrics taken in Canada?

Yes. If you can get an appointment and are near a centre.
