Hi folks, I just got CoPR yesterday (Oct 8th). Just want to share my process for your reference:
AOR: May 14th
Medical passed: May 20th
BIL: July 7th
Eligibility passed: Aug, 14th
Criminal passed: Oct 8th
Security passed: Oct 8th
CoPR: Oct 8th
As I already gave biometrics 4 years ago when applying study permit, I think I'm exempted from biometrics for PR application. However, my profile still showed that my biometrics is still required until yesterday, every other step got passed JUST IN 1 DAY.
For CoPR, as indicated ih the letter, I dont have to land to activate PR status. I'm automatically a permanant resident since yesterday . Can't believe it
Congratulations.
This is like a dream.

Fellows, I got called by SC today around 4pm. No Caller ID. .
AOR: April 17, Richmond Hill, ON.
BIL: June 9
Appt: Oct, 19 in DT.

Tried to book at other locations, the lady on the phone said I can only book in GTA cuz my postal code. I am concerned abt SC closure if we back to Stage 2. Finger crossed.

Good luck everyone.

How one can define “location” for the PR application? I’m CEC inland applicant. I live & work in Cold Lake AB, but my representative/lawyer’s address is in downtown Edmonton. (that’s the mailing address on my application too). My AOR is May 22, 2020, I am still waiting for SC call for biometrics. I’m wondering when I’m going to receive the SC call - will it be based on Edmonton or Cold Lake addresses!

AOR: April 17, 2020. Please see my signature for all the details. I gave biometrics in Jan 2020 to support my visa application and hence was exempted this time. The biometrics were updated/completed on Oct 7, 2020
Congratulations! Did they ask to submit any additional document after you submit your application or before approving?

Hey! When you receive COPR what’s the next stage? You have to send off your passport?
