You say here AOR number - like EE application number? not AOR dates?
Considering that they stated that they're supposed to get a call before March/ April I think it is supposed to be AOR date

I understand. But if the call list is arranged by EE application number, someone who got an AOR of July 2020 but created his EE profile in August 2019 might get an earlier call than someone with a Feb 2020 AOR but created an EE profile in December 2019. it might explain all these calls jumping around in the AOR dates. Just a theory. :)

This could be true. These random call trends are noticed across all Service Canada locations nationwide. There is definitely a "sort" feature that SC is using, but only SC knows what that is.

I was wondering the same thing this day. Before the Covid19, the score is pretty high 468-480. application above that score will get invited immediately after join the EE pool, which means their EE application date may be close to their invitation date. For example, someone may join pool on Feb and AOR at the same month. After April, score dropped so much and people around 450 got invited, who might wait in the pool sine last year April.... If that rule order the list, it is actually the person who waiting the longest, LOL. But not what we think at the beginning.

Interestingly, all these people who "managed" to get an appointment by calling SC themselves joined the forum today, generally minutes ago.

Maybe the fellow users of this forum are cursed, who knows? :D
I wonder if they really got the appointment by calling or are trolling.

@celestialbass are you serious? you called them and they felt sorry that your work permit was ending soon, so forwarded you on to someone to book? who did they forward you on to? and where did they get you booked into so fast?

I called again. I notice that everytime the officers would ask my location (Waterloo, ON). Then they told me that I have to wait...Maybe the lucky thing happens based on location.

Or we might get fooled by new member because I just talked to them and she said they can’t transfer their phone call as I have to wait for the phone call :(

Can anyone please share the outbound contact number of the Service Canada to call directly. I will get lift with my colleague to get it done on the same day.
They are asking not to arrive on site without an appointment, they just won't let you in. The number our "new member" provided where he supposedly got appointment booked, cannot arrange you with an appointment. Moreover, these agents cannot transfer calls anywhere. To top it up - if you say your documents expiring, I do not think agents will be able to help much as it is our responsibility to watch our expiration dates and apply for extension to hold an implied status.
