Theres an announcement today in the IRCC website:

It says applicants within canada are exmepted from submitting biometrics. Anybody has more info about this?

Good that it happened but we inland PR applicants are still in the limbo.

Yeah I’m looking for the info too and I can’t find it! I saw people on other pages/forums sharing it earlier too.

They got an appointment even though the website clearly says no appointments can be done? Through someone they know that works in Service Canada?

was biometrics removed for some of you? will it be shown in the profile? i applied to extend visitor status from my mom (she is stuck here due to covid), but nothing has changed on her profile yet. will they refund fee as well?
