Biometrics Requirement

Hello, I received ITA and uploading documents now.

At the payment details, it shows Biometrics Fee ($85) but I've been in Canada for 4 years. Do I still need to take biometrics?
or it's not necessary but need to pay for it?

If someone went through CEC, please let me know if biometrics is must

They are required now even if you have been in Canada for 4 years.

You don't need to pay now, you can pay when they are requested or now, up to you.
