Biometrics are in my application, do I still need to give them?

So last year my spouse (principal applicant) had her biometrics taken as part of a visitor visa. She didn't get the visa. And now I just received AOR1 and linked the application to my account. Under application status, it displays

• Biometrics Number: XXX
• Date of Biometrics Enrolment: XXX, 2018
• Expiry Date: XXX, 2028

But I was under the impression that she would have to give biometrics again. Is this normal?

Yes, it's normal for previous biometrics to show up initially, and yes you're correct, she'll have to do it again for her PR application. They'll send a request through for her at some point!
