biometric not received by principal applicant but family member received it

my mother and father applied for visitor visa but only my father received biometric letter after submission and we are still waiting for my mother to have one also. it's been a week but still no request from CIC for my mother .

Just wait. Normally the primary applicant gets to be processed first.
