I am at NA2 and have been for more than 1 week.
Does anyone have any idea what is happening at this stage (or what is about to happen?)

Any general idea of how long an application will stay in NA2 before moving on to the next?
What is a general waiting time before one should get worried?

Thank you!

I've been on NA2 for 70 days. I had the document status changed to not required but nothing else changed.
You need to wait for the background check to change from not applicable to in progress. That will indicate you are in ip2. From then on it is usually quite quick, 1-3 weeks.

It has been mentioned several times by experienced members, that NA2 is not an accurate way to track your application progress, and any number of days given here won't be accurate it can be anything from 1 to hundreds. I have been on NA2 for almost hundred days and it is still counting

Oh no. Then do you know what's going on with your application? Is it just sitting somewhere and waiting for someone to look at it?

I have ordered gcms notes, which is the most accurate way to find out. However, don't get the impression that 100 is too big of a number, it is very much within their reported processing timeframes.

My latest inquiry to the CIC reveals that my application is being processed at Case Processing Center in Ottawa. BG status is still NA2.
Does anyone know if this means that Eligibility check is being done now at CPC Ottawa or Eligibility check is finished before application was moved to CPC?
