Recently one of my friend rented a car to do his landing. He had a USA visa, he entered in USA and after couple of hours when he tried to come back to Canada to finish his landing at the border CBSA K9 unit found Cocaine and Heroine residue in the car. CBSA detained my friend on that basis and they were about to cancel his PR although my friend told them that he rented the car so he can finish the landing. CBSA runs the whole security check on him since it was late night. CBSA told him that he is gonna stay the night in detention cell until morning. CBSA called the rent a car service very first thing in morning and confirmed that the car was occupied before and the minute that car came they allot the same to my friend so CBSA found him not guilty and did his landing stamping.
