hi

whats best way to bring my gf over?
here is the scenario, im a graduate and hold postgraduate work permit, i been with her for 5 years and officially we not married,
she was granted student visa couple of month ago, and willing to persuade her study, at the same time we are also thinking of getting married

which is better, rational and cheaper approach to take
1. bring her on current student visa, arrange for marriage on arrival and then switch to other visas?
2. marry oversea and apply for different type of visa?
3. any other advise? or routes

this is urgent thank you for your advise

Option 1 is better, If she wants to study then she can continue it on her SP. As she already has her SP then why will you go for other options and delay her arrival?

Option 2 will not be a wise option because getting TRV or OWP for spouse is not easy and refusal chances are high. She can only get OWP if you have NOC O,A,B job and her OWP will only be valid till the validity of your PGWP.

I think she will have lower fee only if she is a Canadian Citizen or PR.
No, there will not be any problem if you marry her once she is in Canada.

which way gives u quicker route to PR/citizenship? ? i heard she must wait for her student visa to run out before she can switch to other category, is thats correct?

No, this is not true. If you get PR, then your spouse doesn't even have to worry for her status in Canada. If her temporary status as a vistor/student expires, even then you can sponsor her and she will become a PR.
