@saad.. i got admission in univ of alberta in petroleum engg but i didnt avail that.. i got admission in univ. of calgary in reservoir characterization engg...my classmate is going to univ of alberta though.. but i dont think so that he will make it up for sep.. anyways lets hope for the best ... allah raham farmaye.. allah karay visa lag jaye.. imran who already got visa is also going to univ of alberta..mech engg though.. anyways good luck to all.. where did u do ur Petroleum engg from???

I don't think all the deadlines are over. I think uCalgary is open till 1st sept. I think spending money on a short diploma course would not be a good idea. Instead, search all the deadlines for the universities and apply.

Brother Actually i have IELTS score 6.0 and Does not have much time to re take IELTS and next IELTS dates in Pakistan and Probably at the End of september so would u tell me that is there any university who is having lo English requirements or offer conditional Admission (means that after admission i have to done some english courses and than degree courses)

If your medium of instruction in the last university was in english, you can ask them to provide a letter of medium of instruction and send that to the university you are applying to get an exemption from IELTS.

Bhai I applied in Calgary as well. I don't know what did they do to my application. Haven't accepted me but haven't rejected me as well! Plus they I have paid them $130 and now they don't answer my emails as well. BTW, I did my BE from NED.

saadileo and mawais... yaar univ of calgary gets very crowded for sep session.. what u have to do is to email that katrina rosseler again and again if u r applying for petroleum related degree... email her again and again and ask her what about my appliacation..they will only give u response after that...

mawais.. univ of calgary has ielts 7 and toefl 80 requ... toefl is quite easy.. i also did that..but my fren got admission without toefl by providing a letter of Proficiency in english from his university... also univ of alberta is the best univ .. they will give u admission on prof in eng certificate... good luck... shud u need further help regarding univ of calgary..dont hesitate to ask me... and offcourse rhsan is experienced guy.. we will try and help u..rahsan see u in calgary inshallah..got my visa too today...

yar ye to batao ke agar ma Postgraduate Diploma Course ma admission le loon aur udhar ja kar tha Uni ma Admission le loon to aisa possible ha ya nhen aur agra ha to kya ma Work Permit k lye eligible hon ya nhen

well diploma courses actually decreases ur visa chances.. i mean degree courses have higher chances of visa.. and why wud u waste one year on diploma man..wts the point..

Ya koi aisi uni ha aap k mind ma jis ma 6.0 pe Admission milta ho ya Conditional Admission milta ho

mera Engineering ka CGPA 3.77/4 ha nd IELTS band 6.0 ha
ye issue ha aap agar help kar sakein to????????

i guess i already told u man that u dont need ielts or toefl for University of Alberta which is one of the best in canada.. just send them an english proficiency letter from ur dept stating that the medium of studies in the univ is english.. where did u do ur elect engg from.. tell me the name of ur univ... 100% they will give u admission without that and also univ of calgary wil give u admission man... i told u my fren got admission without toefl...
