Lets just say its been 5 weeks since we submitted a renewed police certificate for my spouse and we have NOT received passport request yet. We are still waiting... Im not sure how long it would take, feels like forever.

I think it takes about 3 months after the police certificate request.

It really depends on each case for the ECAS changes. It usually takes quite some time. My lines always appeared weeks after ai would receive documents from the VO.
I did receive AOR2 from the visa office.

Because police certificates expire after 6 months. They just started working on criminality and security so they need a renewed police certificate since its been more than 6 months since the initial one was sent.

It is March 10th - and they haven't asked for an interview or for the passport 8)

I got my passport request!!!! Hope all the people waiting will get it sooon too! I have a question how long does it take to get the visa stamped in Beirut office? Do all passport request letters say 30 days minimum? What's the average? Is it less than that? Do they mean 30 regular or business days? Thanks

Me too! Apparently it can take up to 3 months after you submit it :'(

Hello guys! I just finished my interview (canadian embassy in Lebanon), The officer requests a new juridical record because the one I have sent with the application is expired! I just want to know where should I send the new one? to the embassy here? or I should send it to Canada where I send the application? and any one knows what it will be the next step?

Yes the principal applicant is male. Updated police certicates were sent about a month ago
