Hi Guys,

I have been reading quite a lot and have found very valuable information here and i thought it will be great to have a thread where i keep my experience and queries while filing for PR.

My projected CRS score is 348 being positive that something will happen.

Getting started with getting WES from my university, will be sharing updates.

Best!

Hi Guys,

It's been an year and alot has changed, i had to travel to Canada for business and have B1 visa though the PR process had to be halted. Nonetheless i have started the process. I have now the following credentials supporting my profile, i would like your thoughts on how best i can approach.

NOC: 0124
CRS: 360
Visa office: New Delhi

Thank you so much!

What’s your IELTS, work experience, highest level of education or if you have more than one degree? Asking this so that persons can better give you some advice.

All you did so far is to get the minimal documents to be able to enter EE. But another 90k people have the same thing right now. But 90k will not be invited. So in order to get anywhere further you need to work on your CRS score or find an alternative way.

Increasing your score can help especially your reading. Ideally your should be aiming for 8777 LRSW

Absolutely, i am preparing to give my test again, with 8777 in LRSW my score goes up to 402. Still at that point i have to compete for PNP's, is there a better strategy with 402 score that i am missing?

U have a spouse? If yes, get him/her Wes done and also ielts.

Plus u can also learn French and take TEF test that can give u some boost.

Howeve, if non of these things are possible, I would advise to apply for masters in Canadian university and get pgwp. That would be one hell of investment and would require efforts but hopefully thru that route u can get PR one day

Thanks Jaffaral,

I am contemplating these options as well, i don't have a spouse as of now. I do have a business which i was planning to set up in Canada. I also have a business visiting visa for Canada, is there a way that i can move my IT business there, the current startup visa requirements are quite tough and my net worth is not that high.

No clue about that startup visa program. You need to contact a business counsaltant in Canada for that and discuss with him.

Goodluck
