BE Transcript instead of Marksheets from REC Surat for WES document verification

Hi Friends,

I have gone through the requirement of WES documents verification. They ask for marksheets for verification. I have completed my engg from R.E.C. Surat and I have the transcript issued from the college. During my study period, the college was under South Gujarat University. Later on this college become 'deemed'. By any chance someone has the idea that Transcript in sealed envelope from the college will serve the purpose of WES or not for ECA?

yes transcripts in sealed envelopes by the university will do just fine....don't forget to send a copy of your degree certificate too.

Hi Shreyas,

I was also graduated from same college (NIT) and got the transcripts for ECA purposes. Ask the clerk in the admin section to put transcript in the sealed envelop and he will get that done in couple of days. You can ask any in surat to do in on your behalf. You need to send all year marksheet and degree certificate xerox.

Dear racy846,

To be clear from myside, transcript is different from verified Marksheets issued by South Gujarat university (till my graduation in 2000). I already have the Transcript (showing all 8 semesters courses and marks obtained in one A4 size page) issued by REC Surat long time back in sealed envelope.

My confusion is: Since WES ask for verified marksheets which was issued by South gujarat university I had to visit university and not the colleage. Now university guys ask for Rs. 1500 per marksheet (Yes you read it correct Rs. 1500/marksheet) to be given in sealed envelope and sending to WES on their own. They charge Rs. 50/marksheet for hand delievery but for that they do not give in seal envelope. That kills the purpose.

So I again ask whether WES accepts college issued transcript in a sealed envelope? Most of my friends use it the same for doing MS in USA that time.

Hi Shreyas

I have only obtained the transcripts from college which they kept in sealed envelop. Otherwise I haven't got any marksheets individually attested by college. I only sent the plain xerox copies of marksheet of all the semester and the transcript. I got my WES evaluation in 12 days.

Hello can I talk with you whenever you guys free as I need information too as I completed my bachelors from Amroli college ,Surat and I also need ECA report for Canada visa? So my confusion also same as I passed my graduation in 2000 so I should contact to college or university for ICES service ?
