applied under bc pnp skilled worker as a cook. I am now working in New Zealand as a cook.

The reason they refused me is:" i am not satisfied that advertising the position only in Chinese language newspapers and their website is sufficient to meet the BC PNP's requirement that employers actively recruit locally to fill a position before making an offer to a foreign national."

My employer said that he can post advertisement again on other newspaper and website, such as job bank etc..in order to meet pnp requirement. But I am not sure whether their reason of lack of advertisement is true or just an excuse to refuse my application. I am wondering, can i apply again with the same employer? Or should I find another employer to apply again?

if my employer do enough advertisement right, does it mean my next application will be successful?

thanks a lot!!!

your employer should post it on job bank for at least two weeks!! that is mandatory. it is the same procedure as for lmo.

Could you please tell us when your case was refused, what was the message shown on your profile? was it " decision finalized" or " case declined"?

Online profiles never show "case declined" - only that a decision was made.
