hi,

I received my nomination in December 2012. I applied from India but currently I am in UK on some assignment. So it took time to submit my documents to CIC. I sent the application on 4th April, 2013 but I did not receive any acknowledgement from CHC, New Delhi. I am bit worried as I saw that people received the acknowledgements within days after submitting their application. Does anybody has any idea?

Usually CIC take about 2 months to acknowledge the application by email. You should have received AOR now check your junk/spam folder for AOR. If not than contact CIC on email with all of your details. Bare in mind also that there is a strike going on in CIC that might have delayed your response.
