Hey,

I wonder how this will affect the people who have already applied for the PNP before the express entry starts next month as I know I am not going to get an answer back regarding my PNP until Feb/March as I applied in August. Very concerned that this is going to result in our application not going through as I am not eligible for the express entry. I emailed PNP and got a generic email saying to wait until January to find out but this is just horrid. This process has just been one huge nightmare!

yes, we can but we need also to fall under one of the federal programs... (this is my concern...)

moreover, we do not need if the actual PNP nomination will be valid under the new EE system.

Anyway we can still apply under the "old" paper application..

I have now submitted my application to CIC but it seems like there are significant delays there as well as people don't even get AOR's until after like 100 days. When EE is launched, I am worried that those profiles will be prioritized over the ones that have submitted now, just before EE is launched.... The whole situation is really frustrating.

Yes, it is frustrating, must be some.phone number we can call and ask about express entry slowing down pnp.

My application was recieved by the BC PNP office on 4th July'13. Yesterday I got a mail stating that i need to get an educational assesment (my education has been outside Canada) done as per the new rule. Has anyone else got anything like this? Is this new rule applicable in my case?

PNP called my company on last Tuesday (12/2) , just asked a simple question - if my position is still waiting for me as my wp has already expired. My boss told the officer yes and need me back asap. The officer just said OK.

My boss thinks it is positive to get it soon.

I read some post in "BC PNP April" they said currently PNP has met their cap (4150), those got positive decision will get the package in January.

Hopefully we all can have it soon.

I have mine submit on July 7, 2014 and i got my AOR by July 10, 2014.

Thanks for your reply on the other forum I have finally got my A.O.R. After reading the express entry criteria i really don't think there will be any significant impact on people who already applied through the BCPNP. I believe the implementation of the Express Entry is to eliminate the issue of TFW misuse and misconduct on the side of the employers. So CIC has created a database where people around the world could drop their information, educational background among other credentials hoping for a job offer( Just like people Posting their resume) on this bases LMIA could be issued which means the employer must have searched for an employee within Canada . Giving access to employers to hire foreign workers whom they think will best serve their needs. Also the Province could nominate people who they feel meet the economic needs of the Province and the applicant could either be from inside or outside of Canada
Nevertheless the option of applying through the normal application still stands for people applying through the PNP but other mediums such as: Federal Skilled workers, Federal Skill workers Trades and Canadian Experience Class Falls Under the new Express Entry However the PNP is an application on its own.
Please take a look at the list of application streams which are still available and notice how the three other streams fall under the express entry.
