Hi there,

I just got a job offer as an administrative officer (NOC 1221) and plan on applying for BC PNP Skills Immigration - International Graduate stream as I graduated from a Canadian college less than 3 years ago. However, my wage is only $16/hr, which is higher that the low level but below the median.

Could my application be refused because of this?

Hi,

This is a very old post but I'm posting for the reference.
I just explored the "BRITISH COLUMBIA PROVINCIAL NOMINEE PROGRAM GUIDE" (Link: https://www.welcomebc.ca/getmedia/14a55c84-1301-4959-8a5d-888785a2ac2a/BC-PNP-Skills-Immigration-and-Express-Entry-BC-Program-Guide.aspx).

It only states that your wages should be comparable with the rates paid to the employees working in the similar jobs in BC with similar experience and training. I don't think the specifically ask for the wages to be above mean wage rates in BC.

Good luck!
