BC PNP - have to send PR application to Taiwan?

Hi,

We are on work permits in Canada and just got our BC PNP approved. The letter states we have to apply to the Taipei, Taiwan office, and in the application notes for Taiwan it talks about going to Taiwan for an interview - would we have to do this?? Anyone have any experience with the Taiwan office? The processing time looks a lot shorter than Buffalo which is great for us!

If an interview is requested by the visa office then yes, you would have to attend in Taiwan. Not many PNP applicants are interviewed if the application is appropriately prepared but it can happen. Good luck.
