BC PNP applications after July 2015

Hi all,

Anyone that applied for or was granted BC PNP on the new online system join here.

i applied online so i got file number right away after submission......

I applied for the Bc exp entry and got file number, but I got an better offe to work in another company in same position, If I quit and take new job will this effect my Bc exp. Application, both jobs are under same NOC.

Do I have let bc PNP office know about this? :'(

Hope this helps someone. read on

1. Application sent June 21 2015 under express entry BCPNP
2. work permits expire on July 27th 2015
3. Approached local MLA and MP on June 22 2015 and they asked us to apply for extension to keep our status
4. application for work permit sent on july 9th 2015
5. Express entry (federal) ITA received on July 17 2015
6. call received from BCPNP on July 19 2015 informing that since they can't see our profile in the EE (federal) pool
our application will now be considered under regular BCPNP
(FYI : once you receive an ITA with federal EE your profile is not in the pool anymore)
7. nomination received on aug 8 2015 with the work permit extension support letter given only for myself but not the spouse.
8. found out that MLA's office helped push the application.
9. EE federal status : background check in progress, medical passed and no additional documents needed (aug 8 2015)

question : how do I get Vegreville to accept the PNP nomination for work permit extension?

You should phone the processing centre and tell them that you have your PNP now, they will ask you to forward a copy of your support letter. Or you could go down to the border with the support letter and get your WP immediately.

As for your spouse, don't worry. Once you have your closed WP, they will be granted an open WP as per the info here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?q=199&t=17
If you sent the WP applications together in one envelope, they will process the WPs at the same time.

Appiled on august 7th. received file number within 5 minutes. No updates after that.

No update. Looks like June applicants are getting nominations right now.

Applied on August 7th 2015. Received AOR in 5 minutes.No news after that. I will keep posted if any updates.

Guys please update if any news for July2nd or after Express PNP Applications.

My friend applied paper app. on June 28, got her nomination today, Oct 20. So hopefully that means they will start July apps now
