Bank statement

I'm applying for Canadian visitor visa in few days. Wondering, do I need to submit bank statement as I already have US visa and been lived in U.K. for 6 years as well as been to many EU countries.

I've heard that if somebody has got US non-immigrant visa then no need to show bank statement.

Is it correct?

I'm from Pakistan.

I just read this . . . it's from the TRV checklist: "CAN+ If you have travelled to Canada in the last ten (10) years or currently hold a valid United States nonimmigrant visa and can provide proof (entry stamps in passport, proof of the valid visa), no proof of financial support is needed."

I do have valid US non-immigrant visa but haven't travelled to US yet. Do I still no need to show bank statement.

I have a plan to visit US and Canada together.

It would appear you wouldn't have to because you have "proof of valid visa", but I wouldn't take my word for it.

btw yes you have to submit bank statement, i spent 4years in UK still got 2 years valid UK visa, visited EU countries , visited USA n still got valid US visa for 3 years, turkey malaysia UAE bahrain, and 2 weeks ago i applied for Canada visa n i submitted everything with 6 months bank statement + payslips,yesterday i got an email they are asking for my passport which means my application is approved.

Yes you need to show financial stability that you will be paying all expense occur for the trip
