If CIC has asked to show 14270 CAN for 2 people immigration what amount should I show them to be on safe side, is showing 15000 enough or there have been cases of rejection because of being on border line ? I have heard this happened to few people applying for student visa of UK where visa were rejected because statements where on border line. If this is the case here how much extra should i show 2000 CAN ?

you are required to show the minimum amount,if you have more then fine..but if not - you will not be rejected due to that reason..
