Bank draft as prove of fund....teach me

Hi,

I do not know exactly how its work and need advices.
Can I ask a bank draft be on my own name?
I hear that I need to name a bank in Canada to draw it on. Since I do not have a bank account in Canada yet is it possible? any bank will be Ok?
I also hear that I need an address in Canada. I have a friend address there Can I use that address?
Finally, how long will it take to cash the money and are there fees involved?

Sorry for asking all these questions but I am novice in this field.

For Proof of Funds (Trust you are outside Canada and will be entering)

It can even be a Bank Statement. If you are carrying Cash > Best

Your friend's address should be fine. But tell them that you are going to stay there...
