Bank Account Problem

Dear All,

Can anyone help me to solve this prb.

i had opened gic account in scotia bank after reaching in canada when i went in the branch to open ..account opened and working fine but there is one prb under loan/trading section it is showing loan which is not related to me bank says it is due to match of name and dob with some other...it is creating a lot of prb...i am unable to purchase phone etc they day ur card show loan taken etc. ....bank is not doing much....kindly suggest how to solve this prb...

You will have to contact the bank. Not much we can do in this forum.

Talk to bank manager until it is resolved.

I also recommend you buy a phone for cash or just get a prepaid SIM instead of getting a contract, prepaid can be much better value and no credit checks.
