Atto slow visa office tar uppor holiday season

My wife applied for TRV on 19 November, 2013. She received a letter yesterday stating that she has got the visa. I guess my waiting is over.

We applied online. Our first application for TRV was on paper and lacked a lot of supporting documents. Anyways, on this one we supplied everything they could possible need, as instructed on the online requirements. The only main difference was my wifes status has changed from being a student to employed. That might have influenced the case.

finally found the forum that I was looking for. So I applied to sponsor my wife from Bangladesh back in July 31, 2013. It was received by the singapore visa office on Sept 2, 2013. But since then it just says,, application received. I really don't know what's going on, who and how to contact to find out the status of my application. Reading this thread and all its conversation, it seems that I might be on the same boat as many. But you know anxiety gets the best of you while waiting. So anyways, any suggestion or information will be greatly appreciated.

my file reached singapore may 2012..it was application recieved till november 2013...

So, can she still apply for a 'visitor visa' or 'temporary residence visa' while we are waiting for the immigration to go through? If she does come over to Canada in one of these visas, will it affect her immigration process in Singapore?

Also, she wants to do a masters in Canada after she comes. Can she apply for a student visa if she gets admitted to a Canadian University, while the application is in process? Will her student visa affect the immigration process in Singapore?

I know these are a lot of questions,, but any suggestion would be really helpful.

you can do both.but chances are really slim...reason..stronh family tie in canada..it will be difficult to make singapore believe the true intention.

i see ur timeline....when interview waived then it shows 'in process'?
this week i saw my ecas has changed.. it shows ' in process'.... should i contact CIC by e-mail for further instruction or send GCMS notes?
i never send GCMS notes, last 4th dec i send online inquiry to know my application status...they just send me regular feedback by email but there was no news related my application.

Good news for all Singapore visa office clients.

Maronvarma Spousal visa case went into In Process in Ecas on Feb 11. His case was shown received on Ecas on Sept 18, 2013 and Bangladesh case. So it is very fast and SVO is speeding up and I think within next one month all the 2013 cases will go into in process.

At this time, it seems our applications are being sent to Singapore - RPC, after you receive your approval of a Sponsor. we all know, it takes too long for the applications to get processed there. So, may be you can provide some information that may be helpfull to someone else. At the same time, we can comfort each other.
