background information form

I received today from Vienna VO a request of info to fill out background information form. It concerns my husband and they asked for info about him since the date I submitted my complete information till now (where he lived and worked since July 2010). Strangely they did not ask for the same concerning me, though I provided no info about me since the same date and I am the main applicant.
My question is: Is this a sign that my VO will send me the medicals soon? is it usual to ask for such forms before the medical?

Yes people, me too have been asked for BACKGROUND DECLARATION....nothing to worry about. It shows that they are working on your application.

you must send this form both of you togather, they might reject your application on the baes of existing documents. please dont take risk and complete and send them as soon as possible.

Thank you for your reply. But they only asked for this info for my spouse. I have no problem sending them the same info about me too,,,but the form is printed and it only holds the name of my husband.

Hi all,

With respect to the IMM 008 form - under National Identify Document, what have you guys used? Can I use my PAN card details? as I had used the same for initial application; a catch here is PAN does not have an expiry date.

I have got the same form twice! Once in May and second in August! once asking from sep2011 and another from 2010! afterward no news.
