Background Declaration Process time

Hi Everyone
i would really appreciate if you help me with this i keep messing with my application just cant seem to fill it right but i have applied in jan my wife is in canada i am in Pakistan we hav been married out 18 months applied in jan got med done nd cleared in march got a request for Background declaration and submitted on april 19 they started reviewing it on may 19 i wonder how long will it take to complere or whats the duration for that can anyone tell ?

IRCC promised the complete processing of most straight forward cases within 12 months.........it could take less or in exceptional cases more than 12 months..........if your timeline is within 12 months..........will advice you relax..........its a wait game.

today my wife(sponser) got a mail stated that your husband applications n for permanent resident has been forwarded to Visa office in london for further process what i wanted to confirm is even after medical done abd all that for background declaration it will take 12 months even from here ?

No.....the 12 months is from the time IRCC Mississauga received your complete application package........from when you got AOR1.

yea that i know the only reason i am asking is because we are pregnant and i wana get there ASAP i know there is nothing i can do about it except wait but if anyone here can share their experience how long it took for them for the background i was told from here it will be 2 months just wanted to cofirm that

I got pregnant a month after we sent yhe application. Being pregnant will not speed up the application in any way whatsoever.
