They simply asked for the valid PPs So we sent only the recent ones..
Older PP's were never mentioned anywhere in the whole process as we never have any travel history..
But then what do you think can be the reason for our delay of about three months inspite of being a post 26 june2010 applicant and still no info..On the other hand people of same timeline and of later are getting visas.

Should we send them an enquiry asking for the reason for delay or if any document from our side is required. Last query we sent on 18th may for which we have not received any reply till now.

Please enlighten us.. :)

Thanx

It was a conjoined one... As all of post june ND applicants are getting the MR and PPR together..!

Thanks

I was trying to advise u to "generate" as much 'proof' as possible - so that u could attach them with your letter to your VO.By that RL - I meant - to send the fingerprints, or any/many corresp to the Nigerian PS... this also could be your documented proof that u tried.

It'd help u to 'show' your VO that u tried all possible angles to get the PCC... and having failed all that u r requesting him to offer u a 'waiver' from the same.

THANK YOU QORAX ,
All correspondences with local Police was in person, there wasn't any letters ,he had his fingerprints taken in person,so the only proof is the Application with the fingerprints on it and may be the officials' names that's all ,I hope that will be enough to convince them ,so is it enough? Thanx once more for the clarification. :)

The conjoined ones do not mean that the security checks r over... it takes 3-4 months to do that usually, sometimes till about 7 months. Don't compare that with the 2009 cases - those were unique - it was the best window in CIC history for PR... but, not anymore.

Have patience.

Your likely cause of delay is that you are missing the old passports. Please send them asap, you can get in touch with them via email or fax. Fax is more reliable. Calling them does not help as they facilitate only written communication..
Btw did you receive your RPRF receipt yet.

Hope this helps.

I am no match to Qorax, but basic rule is you need to submit PCC if you have lived for 6 months (or more), so be relaxed until you get reply form Qorax.

2nd AOR means acknowledgement of getting documents by visa office.
You need to wait until status gets changed to "In Process", that time VO will look into your application (documents).

I am not senior, but as per my experience, you may get medical request OR your file might get transferred to other office for fast processing OR you may get request for additional document to prove your claim in the application, soon.
Soon - means depends on visa office & other hidden factors, I am not aware of those factors.
