Background Checks -EXPLAINED >>>

Dear Qorax!
My medicals expired on 9th August 2012. Please consider the following:

• My ECAS status show Processing starting Date of April 2011 only.
• Medical Received line is NOT added & neither have i received my transcripts & original documents back
• 
  My last 3 CSE yielded the same result: Background checks are underway & in their last email they said "We cannot continue processing this application until we have received the results of these checks, which may take a considerable amount of time."

What do you suggest me to do now?.

As always, im very much thankful for ur extended support all the way in processing of my case.

Can you please advice on the below query:

I have made bank draft for my daughter for CAD $ 150.

Bank wrote on the draft payable to "THE RECEIVER GENERAL FOR CANADA" instead of "RECEIVER GENERAL FOR CANADA"

Is there any problem the with the word THE in payable name or I need to make again bank draft as "RECEIVER GENERAL FOR CANADA"..

Please advice on above query...

There is no problem. I also made the draft "the receiver general for canada" and received visa's. even on the official website it is written the receiver general for canada at one place and some other places without the.
so don't worry dude.

Got phone call from CIC Sydney Australia ,They said my documents(passports etc.) are ready to collect so i am going to collect on Monday .Problem is that ecas still showing in process BUT my address has been changed to Canadian Address .Why they did not changed my status to DM??

Is my change of position and department will affect my application? I apply as Accountant in 2010 and late 2011 I was transfered to IT Dept due to business needs. This 2012 when i send my updated letter of employment still the accountant position was written in the letter cause i told them that I have a FSW application.will it affect my background check?

I have been following this thread for a long. Have notices that your predications are normally true.
I am a FSW1 applicant, submitted my application on Dec 2011, eligibility reveiw complete on Feb 2012, since than ECAS in process.
My visa office is Sydney.

When do u think i can receive my Medical Request, am bit worried

That's a sad situation... but it happens with few -- usually due to the veracity of their b/g or security checks. I'm sorry - I can't assist u much here -- ur only option is to send them periodic status queries.

Technically, it shouldn't -- b'coz ur 'eligibility' criteria stands 'locked' once the apps r submitted.
