I received a medical and updated police clearance certificate request in April, 2012. The doctor submitted the completed medicals (health is fine) in May, 2012, and I submitted an updated police clearance certificate in June, 2012. August is almost over now and my eCAS status still says "In Process - Your application was reviewed and we started processing on April 5, 2012." Should I be concerned (do the medical results expire)? Does this indicate my file has been selected for further security checks and may be delayed indefinitely?

Till about 5-months u aren't considered to be delayed. Make it 6-7 in ur case b'coz of the late PCC submission.

i have recieved a letter from LVO
following documents are required:
1.new application for PR IMM0008 form
2.New schedule A for each family member
3.New additional family information form IMM5406 for each member
4.travel history form IMM5562E
5.original degrees from university for spouse, PI and mother of PI
6.original proof of relationship documents, namely original Birth certificate for mother and uncle with translation

need to submit all these within 60 days from the date of this letter.
four months for them to review incoming correspondence.
there a few queries n u might b able to advise me in this regard.
1.do u think tht eligibilty is passed at this stage or will it be completed only when the requested documents are submitted.
2.do u think there might be other issues regarding my eligibility or this document request is final.
3.i dont have the original birth certificate of my mother n my uncle. wht i plan to do is to get fresh birth certificate from registration authority in pakistan for my mother. do u think tht not having the original birth certificate might pose a problem. moreover my uncle was born in india and he dont have his birth certificate. he submitted an affadavit in lieu of BC when he applied for immigration. shud i send the copy of the affidavit and his original educational certificates to provide proof of relationship.
do u have any other suggestion as to how i shud proceed with this case.

They have asked u all those b'coz ur file has now come-out of the wait-queue, and would go into further processing.

1. Yes, passed.
2. Anything can happen under b/ground checks. And if ur uncle's docs aren't accepted -- u'd fail those 5-points.
3. That should be fine -- but pls send an explanation letter for the uncle's non-availability of B/Cert.

Dear Sir Qorax,
Need your special advices and suggestions. My application history is as under;
Applied under FSW in Oct 2011,
First email was received in Jan 2012 that our application is seems ok and process is being started.
Application status is ‘'in process'' since Jan 2012.
In July 2012 LVO asked for additional documents within 60 days (i.e. schedule-A, PCC and proof funds of last 6 months). As funds were less than the requirement, but I transferred 14000$ CAD in my account and as well as showed my property documents and its real value as 36000$ CAD. All the documents dispatched in start of Aug 12.
Now I need answers of following queries.
1. Have I passed my eligibility?
2. My current funds can satisfy them?
3. When can I get my Medical request?
4. When will start and complete background checks?
5. What is the next? (Step by step in detail, please)
6. What is PPR 1 & PPR 2?
7. How much further time it may take to complete my immigration.
I will be very grateful for your assisrance...

HI Captain Qorax and all other senior Members here Plzzz Help me out
I m A student visa applicant and stuck in B/g checks from over a year my Medicals exxpired Early This Months and Vo asked me for Updatd LOA which i sent them in Feb Till Then no reply From Chc As i send them Mails various regardng my status in May the Told Me that Ur ''Background Checks are under way'' anu body tell me when these Background will be over .
and when i m expectng updated MR
Plzzz all tell me if any 1 had an idea abt this .

Our cases at CHC London are stuck from almost last six months after medicals. No change in Ecase and in emails they told that 'Routine Background Checks" are in progress. Please do let me know that are these criminal/security check which CHC is conducting after our medicals or something else like employment history etc.?
