Just received my GCMS, its clearly mentioned in the report that, they sent the verification request to my college and they are awaiting for the response from the college.

If I have got GCMS report at least a week before then this situation easily should have avoided by requesting college to respond to NDVO request.

at times we should listen to our heart, report was just costing Rs.1700/- it should have been nothing compare to this tension and shocks.

long pending/waiting people should apply for GCMS to know what they are doing with your application...

Today I have sent my side of explanation on a covering letter, exam hall tickets and receipts.

Any idea usually by when can I expect the response on my case from NDVO.

my husband was granted protected person status in canada and he filed for his PR application, paid the fees and even included me (wife) and our kids on the application. He lives in Canada, but me and my kids live in USA, when he entered Canada, CIC kept his expired passport from his home country Guatemala, he received an email stating that Medical exam is now being requested, does that include us as well or just him? Also, does he need to apply for a new passport from his home country, so that it can be stamped when he is accepted as a Perm. Resident in Canada? Do me and the kids need to wait before we pay for our medical exams here in the USA?

medical request is separate for each family member, and not only one.
of course without Passport how can any body get visa or travel therefore must apply for the new/updated passport.

if VO told u congradulations, or promised that u will rceived MR soon then u should wait for few more days .

where in UAE, saudia, London city , or which area PP delivered?? where r u living?
anyhow in UAE it takes 10 days normally after DM, but in some cases delays possible.

Thank you nekol.My passport office is london and i sent our passports from kuwait on 3rd march.It showed DM on 10th march on e-case.Today is 18 th still i did not receive it.As you said it may reach here in 2 days time.waiting with prayers.Thank you Josy

Hello All,

I applied under CEC - Student Cat- I submitted app Oct 2012, Medicals was done in Oct 2013, Spouse Medical was done but futher test was required and was submitted 2nd week of Feb. eCas changes to Medicals received Mid March. The question i have is that my criminality has been in progress for the longest time. Security is blank, now i see another thing for VERIFICATION - created and due date was 2days ago. Please what are they verifying? Can someone help shed some light..I am so worried.

Bridge Work permit will expire in August, If i dnt get PR by then, i will need to apply for WHAT?

Please advice.

i received request for passport, medicals and RPRF on 19 th dec,the deadline for submission was 2nd feb 2014.I had sent all the request documents, medicals and RPRF which was received by canadian high commision in 30th dec 2013 and i have not yet received any response from cic since then. The status shows in process and says medicals have been received.How long should I wait for my application status to be changed to Dm?
