I need your help here!!

I applied for MPNP in Dec 2012 (02.12.2012). Got my LOA 23.06.2013. My application was transferred to NEW DELHI on 18.01.2014 (I got an e-mail from them).
My ecas status says APPLICATION RECEIVED on 04.11.2013.

When will they start background checks & what kind of checks will they do?

Background checks means verification of Information and documents submitted.

Today i received the email from CIC with the below opints...

The University officials have confirmed that your degree is not genuine. As a result, I have reasonable grounds to believe that you have misrepresented your education in order to meet the selection criteria as a skilled worker to Canada.

Before a decision is made in your case, I am providing you with the opportunity to comment on the above concern or provide any observation or explanation in writing.

You have thirty (30) days from the date of this letter to respond to our concerns. At that time a decision may be made on your application based on the information on file.

Can someone please help... my degree is genuine.

I am sure u must have done credential evaluation from any of the bodies assigned by CIC and I believe they must have verified your degree result from your university before issuing you your ECA report. Where does the problem lie? Who is not telling the truth?

if they added ur line in ecas as we have stated processing of ur application, all is fine. they will not inform u if positive, but if negative they will ask u explanations of unsatisfactory reason.

this is very bad news my friend, Can you please let us know which university is that, who didn't verify your degree? and I will agree with the guy who is suggesting you to get attestation from university and HEC.

2ndly, you show this letter/email to university registrar that what had happened with you bcos of their carelessness. and ask them a letter in writing that it is by mistake.

I applied in feb, 2010 and my my CIC office is in NDVO and after waiting for years i got this response.

Educational assessment was required that time however i may apply now for assessement but the process may not complete with in 30days.

tomorrow i will be visiting my college with this letter and request them to help me out.

will post further updates shortly.

Please find the below background of the issue.

CIC NDVO has sent the email to my college to for verification of certificates in Dec, 2013 and follow-up email in Feb, 2014.

Recently College called via phone to CIC NDVO and informed that, certificates are genuine but NDVO staff heard the it is not genuine.

Today I met all the respective staff in my college and updated on the letter I received from CIC NDVO.

Based on my request, they have just responded to the email which they have received for verification and also called and informed CIC NEVO that the certificates are genuine.

Let me know what do I respond to CIC email.

in the same email, it might be written that u have to submit with in 30 days but they require 4 month to review your reply. this is also written on some email. kindly re check.
some time this information provided by you is also subject to re-check or verify it may take time to verify the documents provided by you, may be one other reason for the delay. nekeol
