Dear Qorax:

Can you further clarify whats that means "eligibility clearnace" is it means backgroud check is completed and now the applicant is requested for updates of documents ? and than medical request ?

It means that ur paper file has been reviewed & 'provisionally approved for further processing'. Ur b/ground checks commences now. But that oneliner from the VO to an applicant's query could also be just a 'sweet nothing'... meaning: std copy paste response with no serious info added to it.

Dear Qorax,
My spouse was offended with driving without insurance in 2009 in the UK, and got IN10 code on his driving license. He had to pay around 350 fine and his license got suspended. The letter he received from DVLA says 'Driving offence'. He reapplied for a driving license and regained his driving license within couple of months and started driving legally. He wasn't imprisoned.
Now ill be applying as a main applicant and my spouse on my dependant.
My concerns are:
1. Is this offence considered as criminal offence in canada?
2. Am i/we are inadmissible for this kind of offence?

qorax,does chc again ask for foriegn pcc as i had already submitted with the full documentation and m living in my home country since i applied.or chc only ask for my home country pcc with medical request call. your view on that mate.otherwise i will apply as it takes one month to get.

Yes, they sometimes do... usually during the meds call.

I have got another reply today from London VO..for a previous Case specific inquiry i made a month ago. Below is the Reply, but my question is that is there still any chances of Rejection? Although the line says the i meet the selection criteria.

We are waiting for our PPR-2 from last 70 days and my file status is “Decision Made” since 26th Nov 12. I sent email @ re-london-im-enquiry @ international.gc.ca on 31-Dec-12 then 2nd email sent on 10-Jan-12 @ london-im-enquiry @ international.gc.ca and received auto reply that they will contact us within 28 days, but still no email/PPR-2 received yet.
I am the only member of this forum who is waiting for PPR-2 from Nov 2012.
So can you please guide me about our current file status, where it stuck?
When will we receive our PPR-2?
How much time it will take more ?
is there still a chance for refusal after PR 1??
