Background check

Hi guys,
I have applied for PR family class on July 2017, I received a letter to submit the schedule A on 19 of October, than one month latter my wife ( the sponsor) received an email saying that my file has been forwarded to London visa office, up to know my case is showing :Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check.
what should I do?

IRCC promised to complete processing of spousal sponsorship applications within 12 months.....it could take less than the 12 months.....relax.....its a wait game.

Background check takes awhile.......if you have completed medical exam, its not unusual not to hear from IRCC, until they request your passport for PR visa issuance.

Theyre committed to completing 80% of applications within 12 months.

We heard nothing for 8 months then bam ppr

still waiting we passed everything and its 11 months... just saying every case is different

Hi guys,
Today I received a message for addition document, the letter is saying :

Please provide details and evidence of your sponsor’s preparations to relocate to Canada on a permanent basis. Please arrange for your sponsor to provide documents such as proof of job applications for positions in Canada, evidence relating to the termination of your sponsor’s status/employment in current country of residence, evidence of research/ enquiries regarding your children’s education, proof of property ownership or preparations for the purchase/ rental of accommodation, letters of support from relatives and any other relevant documentation you wish to submit to demonstrate ties in Canada and intention to relocate. Please also provide evidence of your sponsor's status in your current country of residence, such as a copy of their visa or residence permit. This must be received at this office by: 2018/06/30

Note that my wife and my kids are living with me in Qatar, and we cannot provide any proof required.

What to do?
