Hi, I'm Brazilian with Japanese heritage so I've lived most of my life in Japan.
I've read some posts stating that depending on the number of countries you've been to for over 6 months after turning 18, it could delay your application.
Is the Japanese government known for being slow at releasing this kind of information?

I' m brazilian too and the background check from Brazil took 4 months and I' ve lived all of my life in Brazil before to come to Canada.
There is a member Tomorisu who is an inland applicant from Japan maybe you can have some info with him.

Hi! The forum is lacking some Brazilians.
Thank you for your response but I forgot to specify that I'm applying Outland so that's my mistake! I assume the background check would be different for me because most applicants through São Paulo have to submit a Police Certificate from Brazil but I only had to submit the Japanese Police Certificate so I was wondering how long my travel history could delay my case.
