Background check still in process test marked as completed

I completed the test in Feb 2022 and until now there has been no progress at all!

Just a follow up to see if any of anyone got the citizenship process completed after long time waiting for BG. I have the similar situation with test completed first (August 2022) while the BG is in progress. Fingerprint requested and submitted back in May 2022. Family application of 4 - paper based.

if they done my BG within a week on my PR application then why the hell security screening on my citizenship application takes this long????

yeah traveled to 4-5 counties like Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand for 7 days each ....but i have been back to my home country for more than 6 months i have no idea this would be the problem ..
like i ve seen many people traveled much than me and got BG done so easily and quickly ...

Hi, Ircc Vancouver asked for a fingerprint for citizenship, I did it today, how long does it take to show completed in the system?

So background check is pending , test was marked completed in March 2022 , aor was July 2021, ordered gems notes shows criminality passed but security pending.. requested atip from csis and they replied " can't disclose information under section 15 (1) as it relates to efforts of canada toward detecting , preventing or suppressing subversive or hostile activities), 16 (1) (a) amd (1)(c) of the act until your case is completed ..


Has anyone also faced this? What does it mean?

Welcome to the club my friend. Exact same situation and was told the same. There are people here who's security clearance has been pending for 12 months after test. No hope at this point

I am sitting in this club since March 2022 when i passed my test,already 7 months, and still counting, my wife also in similar stage, she passed test in April 2022, for her almost 6 months wait time now.Both pending security clearance..
Whenever i call IRCC, we are waiting results from 3rd party (CSIS) for security clearance and can't say anything when they will complete checks.
