Hi all,

My parents background check started last year in April 2018.

In May 2018, my father was asked for a schedule A completion from since he was 18 years old. He submitted this in July 2018.

Since that time, we have not had any further update.

Please can someone shed some light as to what we can do at this stage? Really not sure if this long wait is normal or what options we have at this stage to move the application forward.
Any help would be very much appreciated.

It's not typically - however we do sometimes see cases here where background checks run well over a year. What typcially influences this is a person's background (where they have lived, worked, if they have been part of any organizations that may be of concerns, any military work experience, etc.).

Thanks for response.
When you say well over a year, does it mean less than 2 years or can it take even longer ?
